The Opportunity

We’re looking for someonehands-on, mechanically savvy, and self-motivatedto join our team as aStump Grinding Operator.

You don’t need previous stump grinding experience – we’ll provide full training. What matters most is your ability to:
Work confidently with machinery and tools.
Solve problems and take initiative when working independently.
Be safety-conscious and reliable.
Trusted to provide a professional and efficient service without onsite supervision.

What You’ll Be Doing
Operating specialised stump grinding machinery.
Working on job sites across Adelaide and surrounding areas.
Representing Austral Tree Services with professionalism and care.




Working around underground services
Organised, careful and methodical to complete daily work.
Complying with all company processes, SOPS and safety standards
Respecting, maintaining and caring for you company fleet and equipment
Demonstrating a keen ability to learn and apply recent skills to your job

What We’re Looking For
A mechanical mindset – maybe you’ve worked with engines, tools, farm machinery, or construction gear.
The ability to work unsupervised and get the job done.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Hold a valid Driver’s licenceand MR Licence (essential)
