Temporary Payroll Officer

East Perth | $56 per hour | Immediate Start | 2-Month Contract

We are seeking a confident and capable payroll professional to join a well-established organisation based in East Perth on a temporary basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a varied payroll role and provide essential cover for approximately two months.

The Role

Working as part of the payroll function, your key responsibilities will include:
New employee onboarding
Monthly payroll processing for approximately 130+ permanent employees
Processing payroll for approximately 50 players
Fortnightly casual payroll for approximately 50 employees, increasing to around 80 during the cricket season
Fortnightly contractor payroll
Payroll journals (desirable but not essential)
General payroll administration and support

About You

To be successful in this role,



you will ideally have:
Previous end-to-end payroll experience
Access MicrOpay experience is highly desirable
The ability to hit the ground running in a rapid-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication skills
Immediate or short-notice availability
