Performs critical inspections to evaluate and analyze difficult quality problems, often in collaboration with an engineer
Conducts quality tests as qualified for (destructive and non-destructive tests) to detect non-conformance issues and identifies the causes of rejects
Identifies the causes of rejects of complicated cases of non-conformances and follows them for corrective action
Reads and interprets complicated blueprints and specifications, including customer and vendor specifications
Assists Production during start-up of recent fabrication and authorizes commencement of production
Calibrates measuring instruments using standards and sets up instruments for inspection
May train other inspectors
You are meant for this job if:
Certificate or equivalent / technical background
Over 2 years of experience
Welding / Non Destructive Testing related experience and / or qualification
