Job Description
Manage and maintain wine inventory with precision and care
Collaborate with the Beverage Director and wine team on sales mix and wine education
Curate and update the wine list in collaboration with our talented chefs
Oversee wine service to ensure the highest standards
Work closely with winemakers to select premium wines for our collection
Train, mentor, and inspire Sommeliers and Wine Waiters
Organise and host engaging wine dinners and events
Assist guests in finding the perfect wine pairing to enhance their dining experience

About the Candidate
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Assistant Head Sommelier to lead our wine program and elevate our guests' dining experiences.

Australian working rights
Current NSW RSA certificate
Expertise in wine and food pairing, with a focus on Italian, French, and Australian wines
Strong understanding of COGS (Cost of Goods Sold)
Fluent spoken English
Formal hospitality qualifications (minimum WSET Level 3) or equivalent
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
A positive attitude, exceptional customer service skills, and a passion for teamwork
Work Environment
A solid focus on work-life balance
Competitive salary package of $80,000-$90,000 per annum + Super
