Job Description
We are on the lookout for an energetic Kitchen Hand to join our team at Cooinda Lodge, in the heart of Kakadu National Park.

What you will be doing:
n
n
Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitizing of all kitchen areas, including food preparation and storage areas
n
Keeping floors and work areas clear of hazards and obstruction
n
Responsible of the operation of kitchen cleaning equipment, and reporting faults
n
Assemble and prepare ingredients for cooking as requested
n
Assist with receiving and storing stock
n
Handle chemicals and equipment correctly as per manufacturers' instructions
n
Utilise safe and hygienic methods for the removal of dry and wet waste
n
n
About You:
n
n
Previous experience working in a hotel or kitchen
n




Relevant food preparation and service knowledge
n
Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks and lifting
n
High attention to detail and ability to follow routines and safety procedures
n
Flexible, reliable and able to work both independently and part of a team
n
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
n
Excellent attention to detail and cleanliness
n
Adaptable availability, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
n
