We're looking for a specialist to join our team and help lead key initiatives across our organisation and the Moonee Valley Community
n
Responsibilities
n
n
Manage the relationship between the key Application Owners across Council and the IT and Transformation department.
n
Manage and lead projects and business
improvementinitiatives.
n
Ensure that all Business Systems in use by Council are fit for purpose and if not, lead the work to decommission the existing application and implement its replacement.
n
Coordinate applications lifecycle phases from discovery, planning and justification, procuring, implementing, support and decommissioning
n
Drive decisions and ownership of Council approved applications.
n




Provide guidance and or support to areas of Council to maximise workflow processes.
n
n
Skills & Experience
n
n
Tertiary qualifications in information technology, business or other relevant discipline with some relevant experience, or extensive demonstrated experience in project management and business analysis.
n
Experience in project management
n
Experience with stakeholder and vendor management.
n
Experience in the development of business cases and to outline cost vs benefit
n
Understanding of process mapping and or other continuous improvement tools
n
Experience in Local Government (desirable).
n
