The Opportunity
The Apprentice Sports Turf Management is a 3-year role where you'll get hands‐on experience while studying a Certificate III in this field.
You'll help keep our sports fields, parks, reserves, cemeteries, and other community spaces looking great and safe for everyone to enjoy.
In this role,



you'll use and look after equipment like mowers and garden tools, help maintain turf, trees, shrubs, and flower beds, and work alongside experienced staff to learn practical turf and horticulture skills.
We're looking for someone who is interested in sports turf management, enjoys working outdoors, and shows commitment through school, study, or past work.

Successful candidates will be required to:
Commence employment on Monday, 1 February ****.
Complete a pre‐employment skills assessment as part of the interview process.
Undertake a medical assessment that will include a drug and alcohol test, sight and hearing, functional and medical component
Obtain a General Construction Induction Card (White Card) prior to commencing on 1 February ****.
