- Appointment type: Full-time (37.5 hours per week), continuing position.
- Lakeside Hotel & Conference Centre, Macquarie University, Wallumattagal Campus, North Ryde.
About the Role
We currently have an exciting prospect for a full-time Hotel Front Desk Night Auditor to join our Hotel and Conference team.
This is a great opportunity to work within a capable, close-knit team and develop your career in the hospitality industry.
Reporting directly to the Front Office Manager, the Night Auditor is a key member of the hotel team responsible for the overnight operations of the hotel from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with shifts commencing Sunday to Thursday.
Combining front-desk service with essential night-audit activities, you will support guests throughout the night, verify the accuracy of guest accounts, and reconcile and balance charges.
Performing hotel guest check-in and check-out
Settling accounts for early departures
Addressing customer queries and resolving customer issues, and completing the necessary reconciliation and reports
Conducting walkthroughs of the building to ensure it is secure, and reporting any maintenance issues
Working alongside relevant stakeholders to deliver on shared outcomes

About You
You have a positive attitude, a genuine customer service focus, and the technical ability to process the nightly audit of all front office transactions.
Comfortable working autonomously through overnight shifts, you enjoy solving problems as they arise and take pride in delivering memorable guest experiences.
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated skill and experience within a customer facing role providing excellent service to a culturally diverse customer base
Experience in customer billing and invoice processing
Excellent attention to detail
Availability and capability to work autonomously across overnight shifts
Strong time management and organisational skills
A calm,



service-focused approach to resolving guest queries and issues
Experience using hotel management systems (e.g., Opera) is desirable
