LVT People islooking for aData Analyst with expertise in Power BI for our enterprise and government clients.

As a Data Analyst, you will be required to workwithin the operational Data and Analytics team, which involves members of a multi-disciplinary team. You will play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights and reports using Power BI. You will collaborate with various teams to provide data-driven solutions and support decision-making process.

Responsibilities:
n

Data Extraction and Transformation: Extract and transform data from various sources, such as databases, spreadsheets and APIs. Clean and pre-process data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
n
Power BI development: Design and develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Power BI. Create data models and implement data relationships within Power BI.
n
Data Visualization: Develop compelling data visualizations and interactive charts to communicate insights effectively. Customize reports and dashboards to meet business requirements.
n
Data Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis to identify trends, patterns and anomalies. Collaborate with the stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
n
Reporting and Automation: Generate and distribute regular reports and automated dashboards to relevant teams. Implement scheduled data refreshes and updates within Power BI.
n
Data Governance: Ensure data accuracy, quality and security in Power BI reports. Define and enforce data governance best practices.
n
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data engineers and decision-makers to understand data requirements and deliver insights.
n
Training and support:
Provide training and support to end-users in navigating and interpreting Power BI reports. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to Power BI reports.
n
Continuous learning: Stay updated with the latest features, updates and best practices in Power BI. Explore opportunities to enhance and optimise existing reports and dashboards.

Selection Criteria
n

Proven experience of 3 years as a Data Analyst with a robust focus on Power BI
n
Proficiency in data modeling and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) within Power BI
n
Proficiency in designing and developing visually appealing dashboards and reports using Power BI
n
Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices
n
Basic knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation
n
Experience working with Jira, Confluence within a SCRUM or SAFE agile team
n
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
n
Ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights
n
Excellent communication skills to convey findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
n
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements
n
Ability to work independently and in a team
n
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related field
n
Prior experience withdata modelling and data warehousing
n
F amiliarity with datamanipulation using tools like Excel or Python
n
F amiliarity with SQL for data extraction and manipulation
n
Experience working in a government agency, consulting firm or with large enterprise clients
n
