HR Operations Manager

An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced HR Operations leader to join a large, complex organisation in the professional services sector, based in Western Sydney.
n
This is a pivotal role within the People & Culture function, leading the delivery of core HR services while driving a broader agenda of digital enablement, process improvement and service excellence.
n
You will lead a small team of specialists and ensure HR transactions, compliance and employee support remain accurate, timely and consistent across the employee lifecycle.
n
Reporting to the HR Director, your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Leading the HR Operations delivery and improvement portfolio, managing all Tier 0 and Tier 1 enquiries to a high standard of service and compliance
n
Overseeing daily operations, balancing team workloads, maintaining service standards and managing escalations
n
Driving continuous improvement initiatives, partnering with your specialist team to embed new technology and expand self-service capability
n
Ensuring robust compliance and governance across all HR Operations activity, including accurate record keeping, segregation of duties for payroll inputs and adherence to legislative and enterprise agreement requirements
n
Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators, using data to evaluate service quality,



identify risk and inform decision-making
n
Partnering closely with Payroll & Compliance, HRIS & Analytics and other People functions to deliver an integrated and consistent employee experience
n
Building a high-performing team culture through strong leadership, coaching and development
n
n
To be considered for this role, you will bring:
n
n
Extensive leadership experience in HR operations or shared services within a large, complex organisation
n
A strong understanding of employment legislation, enterprise agreements and compliance obligations
n
A proven track record of delivering process improvement and digital transformation outcomes
n
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and change management skills
n
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with experience using HRIS and other digital tools
n
n
Experience within a large complex organisation highly desired, as is experience in business process improvement and transformation initiatives across HR.
n
