About the role
n
As Safety & Compliance Lead , you will lead the
planning,deliveryand
continuous improvement of Tennis Australia's compliance, permitting and safety assurance programs across our venues and major events, including the Australian Open. Working closely with
regulators,consultantsand
internal stakeholders,you'llensure our venues and
eventsremainsafe,accessibleand
compliant while driving governance and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.

In this role you willbe responsible for:
n
n
Leading regulatory
compliance,permitand
approval processes, including Place of Public Entertainment (POPE) approvals and stakeholder engagement with relevant authorities
n
Driving safety, compliance and governance frameworks across major events,venuesand infrastructure projects
n
Leading accessibility compliance initiatives to ensure inclusive and accessible experiences for
patrons,participantsand
stakeholders
n




Supporting and continuously improving Tennis Australia's Safety Management System, compliance
assuranceactivitiesand
risk controls
n
Developing and overseeing contractor and property compliance programs, including Essential Safety
Measures,trainingand
compliance reporting
n
n
About you
n
To be successful in this role you will:
n
n
Demonstrated experience in safety, compliance, risk, facilities, event operations or governance roles within complex organisations or major event environmentsis highly regarded
n
Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements, with experience interpreting and applying building,safetyand accessibility legislation
n
Ability to build trusted relationships with regulators, government authorities,
consultants,contractorsand
senior stakeholders
n
Experience developing and implementing compliance frameworks,
policies,systemsand
continuous improvement initiatives
n
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical requirements into practical operational outcomes
n
Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
n
Preparedness to be flexiblein regard toworking hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia
n
