About you
You will be an experienced insurance professional, such as an underwriter or claims specialist, who is ready to apply your technical knowledge and established relationship‐management capability in a strategic, market‐facing role. You will have demonstrated the judgement, maturity and autonomy required to manage complex stakeholder relationships, coordinate activity across multiple Liberty functions and represent client priorities effectively.
Previous Distribution experience is not essential. We are looking for someone who can bring robust relationship management, market‐facing capability, a self‐starting approach and a genuine interest in understanding and advocating for clients. You will be expected to take ownership, exercise sound judgement and deliver outcomes with a high degree of independence.
You will bring:
Strong knowledge of insurance products, claims, underwriting or related disciplines.
Demonstrated experience and accountability at a mid‐to‐senior professional level.
A proven ability to build trusted relationships, influence a range of stakeholders and coordinate outcomes across teams.
Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships and navigating competing priorities.
A client‐focused approach, with the confidence to understand priorities, advocate for outcomes and coordinate effective responses.
Sound judgement and the maturity to operate autonomously in client‐ and market‐facing situations.
Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to engage confidently with clients, brokers, colleagues and senior leaders.
Highly developed interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills.
Strong organisation, planning and coordination capability, with close attention to detail.
Commercial, financial and market awareness, together with the ability to identify relationship and growth opportunities.
Strategic thinking and analytical capability, including the ability to draw insights from relationship and client information.
Confidence working collaboratively across teams, taking initiative and delivering in a changing environment.
A commitment to Liberty's values, continuous improvement and your own ongoing development.
