We are seeking an experienced Civil Construction Supervisor to join a project team delivering the construction of a recent helipad at a local hospital in the Laidley and Ipswich region.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‐on leader with a solid civil construction background to oversee crews, maintain high safety standards, and contribute to a significant infrastructure project within the local community.

About the Role
n
As the Civil Construction Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading daily site operations, coordinating work crews, and ensuring project milestones are achieved safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
n
This role is offered on an initial 20-week project, with the potential for ongoing work based on project requirements and performance.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities
n
Lead pre-start meetings and toolbox talks
n
Ensure compliance with WHS policies, procedures, and site requirements
n
Monitor productivity, work quality, and project timelines
n
Support, mentor, and develop site personnel
n
Coordinate subcontractors and site resources
n




Liaise with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders
n
Maintain accurate site records and reporting
n
n
Skills & Experience
n
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
n
n
White Card (essential)
n
Proven experience in a Civil Construction Supervisor role
n
Experience with reinforced concrete slab construction
n
Working at Heights certification
n
Traffic Control qualifications (Blue and/or Yellow Card)
n
Confined Spaces certification (highly regarded)
n
Strong understanding of WHS legislation and industry best practice
n
Excellent leadership and communication skills
n
Ability to manage crews and deliver projects safely and efficiently
n
