Primary Responsibilities:

Analyze geological data and prepare detailed technical reports.
n
Evaluate potential environmental risks and impacts associated with projects.
n
Develop and implement remediation plans to address environmental issues.
n
Manage projects and tasks to ensure timely completion within budget constraints.
n
Prepare and review technical reports to meet regulatory requirements.
n
Oversee and execute remedial and removal actions to achieve project objectives.
n
Conduct field sampling, implement procedures, and ensure compliance with protocols.
n
Perform soil and groundwater investigations to assess environmental conditions.
n
Manage munitions response projects, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
n
Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal preparation.
n
Supervise personnel and mentor staff for career development.
n
Delegate tasks effectively and develop strategies to enhance project success.
n
Establish and maintain a strong technical reputation within the organization.
n
Apply comprehensive project management skills, including scheduling and cost control.
n
Manage client expectations and maintain communication with clients and regulatory agencies.
n




Provide regular project status updates to the program manager and stakeholders.
n
Conduct field investigations, collect geological samples, and analyze findings.
n
Assist in environmental assessments and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
n
Collaborate with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
n
Utilize specialized software and equipment for data analysis and mapping.
n
n
Minimum Qualifications:
n
n
Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental and engineering consulting, with a focus on remedial actions and munitions response projects.
n
Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university.
n
Proficiency in MS Office Suite Products.
n
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
n
Ability to effectively interact with clients, regulatory agencies, field operations, technical staff, and subcontractors.
n
Capability to develop project work plans, health and safety plans, traffic control plans, erosion control plans, etc.
n
Willingness to travel up to 25 to 50 percent of the time to project sites, as required.
n
n
Preferred Qualifications:
n
n
Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Science, Environmental Science, or related field.
n
M.S./P.G. or other relevant qualified certifications.
n
Demonstrated experience in managing and executing environmental and remediation construction projects.
n
Previous involvement in preparing or contributing to project proposals.
