As a Kitchen Hand, you'll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincent's Care Services Yennora.
St Vincent's Care Services Yennora (locally known as Rosary Village) is a 141-bed facility located approximately 29km from Sydney's CBD.

We have the below openings‐ 1x Permanent Full‐time – Mon to Fri 8am to 4pm.
2x Permanent Part‐time – Min. 3 days a week, 4pm to 8pm.
Things that work for us:
Cert III in Hospitality and/or Food Preparation Certificate desirable
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate essential or willing to obtain
Experience in Hospitality, Aged Care, Hospital environment and/or related field ideal
Providing services that support high quality food services outcomes for residents, customers and staff of the Facility
Ability to work in the kitchen or on serving, completing wash‐up duties &/or whatever is required to provide an excellent food service for our residents




Willingness to support the laundry and maintenance team when required with duties like unloading deliveries, moving furniture to facilitate repairs/ maintenance work
An ability to provide catering/ kitchen, laundry and maintenance services that is consistent with the mission and philosophy of our organisation, and food safety standards
High level of customer service skills
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (within the last 6 months)
NDIS Worker Screening Check will be a requirement of this role
