ABOUT YOU
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
The successful applicant will have prior barista experience and be confident preparing a variety of hot and cold beverages, including consistently high-quality coffee and basic latte art.
You will play an important role in creating a welcoming and professional cafe experience for our students, staff, families and visitors.
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Barista who enjoys providing excellent customer service and is comfortable working in a busy school cafe environment.
Candidates should demonstrate:
Experience working as a Barista in a cafe, hospitality or retail environment
Demonstrated ability to produce a range of hot and cold beverages,



including consistently high-quality coffee and basic latte art
Excellent customer service and presentation skills
Ability to follow operating procedures and prepare orders according to customer requirements
Experience cleaning and maintaining service areas and equipment to required hygiene and food safety standards
Experience opening and closing a cafe and handling cash and electronic transactions
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities during busy service periods
Ability to work independently while also contributing positively as part of a team
A friendly, professional and approachable manner.
KEY INFORMATION
Hold or be eligible to hold a current Blue Card for Working with Children in Queensland
Agree to undergo a Criminal History/Police Check conducted by the School
Be an Australian resident or otherwise eligible to work in Australia.
Must be able todemonstratean understanding ofappropriate professionalboundaries and standards when working with children and young people.
