Rotating roster across Monday - Friday including AM, PM & Nights
Are you an experienced CSSD Technician who is self-motivated and enthusiastic or currently studying towards Cert III in Sterilisation?
About the role
Brisbane Private Hospital are currently seeking a part-time CSSD Technician to join our agile perioperative team working across a rotating roster, 32 hours per week across Monday to Friday.
Shifts will include a variety of AM, PM and night shifts on rotational basis.
Key responsibilities will include:
Thermal disinfection inspection, packaging and sterilising of all instrumentation for theatre and other clinical areas
Comply with AS/NZ standards AS ****:****
Operate interpret and document all machinery operational requirements
Report and document all quality activities
Ensure priority of instrumentation and processes

Brisbane Private is a 181-bed acute and rehabilitation hospital with 18 operating theatres conveniently located above the Roma Street Parklands.
Specialties include neurosurgery, orthopaedics, spinal, plastics, urology, ENT, Rehabilitation and general surgery and delivery of Brisbane's leading private drug and alcohol programs from Damascus Health Services.
Sound knowledge of AS ****:****
Demonstrated knowledge of instrumentation
Completed or workingtowards Cert III in Sterilisation
Experience with tracking systems
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
Intermediate computer literacy skills - including MS office and various data base
An interest in promoting best practice patient care
