We have an exciting opportunity for an People and CapabilityAdvisor to join our People and Capability team on a permanent, full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an entry level / emerging HR professional looking to build their experience in a broad generalist role.The team plays a key role in creating a positive and high-performing workplace.
We partner with leaders across the organisation to attract, develop and support our people, ensuring QLS remains capable, engaged and ready for the future.As Advisor, People and Capability, you'll provide practical HR advice, manage recruitment and employee lifecycle activities, and contribute to initiatives that enhance the employee experience and strengthen organisational capability.
In this role you will:
Partner with leaders and employees to provide practical advice on people matters, including policies, leave, performance, conduct and employee relations.
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, partnering with leaders to appoint high-quality talent across the organisation.
Coordinate key employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, performance enablement, return-to-work support and offboarding.
Contribute to a positive employee experience by providing timely support, maintaining accurate HR data, and assisting with people reporting and insights.
Contribute to people initiatives, projects, policies and process improvements that enhance organisational capability and employee experience.
Ideally you will have the following:
Experience in a Human Resources,



or related role, with exposure to employee relations, recruitment, and employee lifecycle activities.
Working knowledge of employment legislation, modern awards and contemporary HR practices.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels.
Experience using HR information systems and reporting tools, along with sound judgement and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
