About the role
The Scoping and Development Engineer develops and scopes complex transport projects to ensure they are technically sound, well planned and ready for delivery.
The role prepares project scopes, cost estimates and supporting documentation in line with the Department's Project Management Framework, while identifying project risks and benefits.
The role works closely with internal and external stakeholders to support project development, ensure compliance with engineering standards and integrate projects effectively.
It also contributes to a collaborative team setting, promotes protected and inclusive ways of working, and helps deliver high-quality transport infrastructure outcomes.

confidently using and supporting technology to improve project delivery and business outcomes.

Qualifications and experience
You'llbring:
A Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction or equivalent (Mandatory)
Civil design and project management experience.
Driver's License

Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa necessary for the nature of the position.
