Your Opportunity
As a Finance Analyst within Community and Mission, you will provide financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and business partnering support to drive informed decision-making across a diverse portfolio of services.
With strong analytical capability and a collaborative approach, you will:
Financial Management & Reporting
Prepare month-end reporting, financial analysis and variance commentary
Support budgeting, forecasting and funding reporting across multiple programs
Manage funding acquittals, audits and compliance requirements
Ensure accurate financial reporting to support operational and strategic decision‐making
Business Partnering & Stakeholder Support
Partner with Program Managers and senior stakeholders to provide financial advice, decision support and improve budget ownership
Support business cases, funding submissions and key operational decisions
Analysis & Continuous Improvement
Develop financial models, forecasts and analysis to support strategic decision‐making
Identify opportunities to improve financial performance and reporting, including leveraging technology and AI tools to drive efficiencies
Risk, Compliance & Governance
Monitor financial risks and ensure compliance with funding, reporting and control requirements
Support audits, acquittals and strong financial governance practices
What You'll Bring
You are a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, solving problems and translating financial data into actionable insights.
What's Required
Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline
Minimum 7 years' experience in financial analysis, management accounting or business partnering role
5+ years of advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling capability
What's Preferred
CA or CPA qualified, or currently working towards completion
Previous experience with budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and financial analysis
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship‐building abilities
High level analytical and problem‐solving capability
