The Opportunity
As part of our Bachelor of Nursing program, we are proud to educate students and enable them to become great nurses.
We know you are a passionate educator with current nursing registration seeking a role where you can make a positive difference in the present and future of nursing education.
This role is a terrific opportunity to combine your motivation and energy and join our collaborative team based at our Wakefield Campus.
You will work to ensure students are provided with the best opportunity to attain learning outcomes.
There will also be opportunity to keep up to on your discipline by undertaking professional development activities to further your knowledge and skills to help create the nurses of tomorrow.
This is a permanent full-time position based at our Wakefield Campus.
Courses are taught over the course of 3 trimesters per year, each trimester consisting of 12-week blocks.




Reporting to the Course Coordinator
Delivery and teaching of the Nursing Program content utilising flexible learning modes to accommodate student needs ensuring compliance with all regulatory frameworks
Mentor students to understand and utilise the Codes and Standards of Professional Practice relating to Nursing
Utilise learning technology effectively and embed in design and delivery
Engage in student centred learning and teaching practices and maintaining an active and positive education experience
Engage in a model best practice in applying pedagogical principles, instructional strategies, and communication strategies appropriate to the learners.
Provide on-going assessment support for students to satisfactorily complete assessment tasks
MUST have (TEQSA requirement)
Experience in education/training and assessment
Understanding of pedagogical and/or adult learning principles relevant to the student cohort being taught.
Masters qualification in nursing
Current Division 1 Nurse Registration with AHPRA
Sound understanding of current scholarship and/or professional practice in the discipline that is being taught
