The Role
n Our Support Service Workers provide all hospitality aspects of our Aged Care home such as catering, cleaning and laundry services. Working Part-Time, you will build strong relationships with our residents, families and Care Staff contributing the optimisation of resident choice and essentially creating a solid sense of home in accordance with our values supporting our residents quality of life.

What you will do
n
n
Preparation and presentation of dietary services, including meals and drinks
n
Assisting the chef with meal preparation, cleaning and general kitchen duties
n
Distribution of meals to residents & dining room services
n
All aspects of cleaning throughout the resident rooms and facility
n
Completing required documentation and reporting
n
Ensure handwashing supplies are available and replenished
n
Contribute to an effective laundry service including item checking & labelling
n
n
What you will bring
n
n
Experience gained in a similar role, preferably within an Aged Care setting (not essential)
n
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
n
Currently hold an NDIS Check (or willing to obtain)
n
Empathetic and caring approach to our Residents
n
An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes highly regarded but not essential
