About the role
We are seeking exceptional Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) teachers with demonstrated expertise in numeracy to support diverse learners in building the confidence, capability and foundation skills required for success in their chosen courses.
You will design, deliver and enhance engaging learning experiences that help students develop the literacy, language, numeracy and digital skills needed to achieve their educational, vocational and personal goals.
Working across a range of vocational and foundation skills settings, you will apply contemporary and inclusive teaching practices to support learner success and improve student outcomes.
In this role, you will:




Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences in both face-to-face and online environments.
Assess learner needs and provide targeted support to develop literacy, language, numeracy and digital capabilities.
Plan, deliver and evaluate learning programs that support student engagement, progression and achievement.
Undertake student administration , including marking and providing timely, constructive and comprehensive assessment feedback.
Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate student records, including attendance, results and compliance requirements.
Support students with diverse learning needs to achieve successful course outcomes.
Collaborate with vocational teaching teams to embed foundation skills into vocational training and assessment.
Build and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders.
Contribute to continuous improvement and currency initiatives that enhance the quality of teaching, learning and student outcomes.

About You
To be successful in the role, you will:
To be successful in this role you must meet the below essential requirements:
A recognised Bachelor degree (AQF 7) in education, with an LLND focus OR
A recognised postgraduate qualification (AQF 8 or higher) in LLND OR
A Qualification at AQF5 (or above) and relevant experience in an LLND area
Note:



Successful applicants coming in under #3 must complete Adult Literacy and Numeracy Teaching (ALaNT) + TAELLN skillset (TAESS***** or predecessor) within 18 months of engagement*.
(*ALaNT expected to be available from T2, ****.)
Minimumn three years post-qualification experience in teaching.
Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET).
