KBR, on behalf of Rex Minerals, is seeking two experienced Construction Site Superintendents to join the integrated Owner's Construction Team on a major greenfield copper and gold concentrate project in South Australia.
n
This is a site‐based leadership role offering solid visibility and influence across field execution, working alongside EPCM partners and multiple construction contractors through construction, mechanical completion and handover.

The Opportunity
n
n
As a Construction Site Superintendent, you will act as the Owner's on‐ground representative, taking accountability for the safe, efficient and compliant execution of works across assigned construction scopes.
n
This is a hands‐on, site‐focused role operating on a back‐to‐back roster, ideal for experienced Senior Supervisors or Superintendents who excel in dynamic, multi‐contractor environments and want to be part of a high‐profile greenfield development.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Safety, Environment & Community
n
Provide strong, visible safety leadership across all construction activities
n
Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, site safety management systems and project HSE requirements
n
Lead daily pre‐starts, toolbox talks and proactive field safety interactions
n
Identify hazards, implement effective controls and actively manage risk
n




Ensure environmental and heritage controls are implemented in line with project approvals
n
n
Construction Execution
n
n
Supervise and coordinate day‐to‐day construction activities across assigned scopes, including:
n
earthworks, civils, concrete, structural steel, SMP, E&I;, process plant and non‐process facilities
n
Ensure work is executed in accordance with IFC drawings, specifications, ITPs and approved methodologies
n
Coordinate work fronts, access, sequencing and shared resources across disciplines
n
Monitor progress against schedule and manage field‐based risks and constraints
n
Resolve construction issues in collaboration with engineering, quality and planning teams
n

Contractor & Interface Management
n
n
Act as the primary field interface between the Owner, EPCM and construction contractors
n
Provide clear direction on priorities, scope and execution expectations
n
Monitor and manage contractor performance across safety, quality and schedule
n
Coordinate interfaces between disciplines, contractors and work fronts
n
n
Quality, Planning & Handover
n
n
Ensure construction quality and specification compliance
n




Support ITP implementation, including participation in hold and witness points
n
Contribute to short‐interval planning and construction reporting
n
Support punch listing, defect rectification and handover readiness
n
n
About You
n
Essential
n
n
Trade qualification or equivalent construction background
n
***** years' experience in site supervision or Superintendent roles on major projects
n
Proven experience working in EPCM‐led, multi‐contractor environments
n
Demonstrated safety leadership and strong construction execution capability
n
n
Desirable
n
n
Greenfield mining or mineral processing project experience
n
Exposure to mechanical completion and commissioning phases
n
Familiarity with South Australian statutory and regulatory requirements
n
n
