In this paediatric clinical teaching fellowship, you will deliver outstanding bedside small-group teaching for medical students. You will also design assessments, support curriculum development and contribute to the Department of Paediatrics' academic goals. This role offers structured professional development to grow as a skilled medical educator within a leading Faculty.

What you will deliver
n
n
Deliver high-quality clinical teaching and supervision to medical students in their Child and Adolescent Health rotation.
n
Provide mentoring and feedback that supports students' professional growth and excellent clinical learning experiences.
n
Contribute to assessment design, review and implementation for paediatric components of the medical curriculum.
n
Assist with curriculum development and continuous improvement of the Child and Adolescent Health program.
n
Engage in academic and professional development activities to enhance your skills as a medical educator.
n

You may be a great fit if you
n
n




Hold current medical registration in Australia or be eligible for Australian medical registration.
n
Maintain RACP Paediatric Advanced Trainee status post-exams or have completed FRACP or equivalent training.
n
Have demonstrated experience working in clinical paediatrics practice environments.
n
Show robust commitment to further developing professional capabilities and evidence-informed teaching skills.
n
Use highly developed interpersonal skills to communicate clearly with staff, students and multidisciplinary colleagues.
n
Collaborate effectively in teaching teams to achieve outstanding educational outcomes for medical students.
