Four-year Apprenticeship working towards a Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (UEE*****)
n
On-the-job training with qualified and experienced technicians combined with formal study (3 years part-time) at an elected TAFE
n
Participate in workplace and worksite rotations which allows you to experience a variety of work environments including all aspects of the trade
n

What will I be doing?
n
As part of your Apprenticeship you will undertake diverse duties, which may include, but not limited to:
n
n
Learning how to diagnose faults, carry out repairs, test and maintain a diverse range of air conditioning systems including domestic and commercial air conditioning systems, mechanical ventilation systems and water heating and cooling systems.
n
Reading and interpreting plans for installation of new systems and servicing of existing systems
n
Learning about refrigerated systems that cool and heat water and air
n
Commissioning of systems including testing and balancing of air and water distribution
n
n
About You:

Recently completed Year 11 or Year 12 and ready to start your apprenticeship in January ****
n
Drivers Licence and own transport
n
White Card
n
Must enjoy working outdoors
n
Physically fit and able to complete manual tasks
n
Be willing to travel to worksites
n
Able to work in a team environment
n
Punctual and reliable
n
Willingness to learn and commit to completing an apprenticeship
n
