Senior Civil Engineer - Land Development & Urban Renewal

This is not a volume-driven, infrastructure-heavy environment.
This is subdivision and urban renewal design within a structured engineering consultancy - where your judgement, not bureaucracy, drives delivery.
We are representing a well-established consultancy with a consistent Northern Territory pipeline across residential subdivisions, mixed-use developments and urban renewal precincts.
Responsibilities
Leading civil design across land development and infill renewal projects
Managing roads, drainage, stormwater, earthworks and servicing strategies
Coordinating approvals with local authorities and key stakeholders
Working closely with 12D designers and junior engineers to deliver high-quality documentation
Owning projects from concept through detailed design and approval

Looking For
5-10+ years' experience in civil engineering within a design consultancy
Strong land development background (greenfield subdivisions and/or urban renewal)
Experience delivering civil documentation aligned with Australian standards
Confidence across drainage, roads, earthworks and servicing design
Experience working with 12D designers and multidisciplinary teams
Stable consultancy-based career history
Not Suited To
Engineers working primarily in large-scale transport, rail or highway infrastructure
Construction contractor or site-supervision-based roles
Developer-side project management without detailed design responsibility
