The Role Due to organic growth within our team, we are seeking an ambitious Employment Lawyer (1-3 years pae) to join our Sydney-based practice.
In this role, you will work across the full spectrum of employment law, balancing both contentious and non-contentious matters.
You will step into a position that offers true autonomy while remaining heavily supported by an accessible, collegiate team of senior lawyers.
Key Responsibilities Advising clients on a wide range of employment advisory matters, including employment contracts, workplace policies, enterprise agreements, modern awards, and compliance.
Assisting with employment litigation, including unfair dismissals, general protections claims, underpayment disputes, and post-employment restraint enforcement.
Conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, preparing witness statements, and instructing counsel.
Running smaller files independently and working closely with partners on complex, high-value litigation.

Assisting the wider team with general commercial and business law matters, including commercial contracts, business transactions.
About You An admitted Solicitor with 1 to 3 years of post-admission experience in employment law.
Demonstrated experience handling or assisting with both employment advisory and workplace litigation files.
Prior experience or robust interest in general commercial and business law will be highly regarded.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a sharp attention to detail.
A proactive attitude and a desire to build long-term client relationships.
