The Opportunity Deliver clinical services through evidence based, individual and group interventions and counselling Provide a variety of services including assessments that identify individual strengths, skills, experience and vulnerabilities in employment Gain expertise by working with a multidisciplinary team of Allied Health Professionals Permanent Part-time role (3 days a week) covering our sites in Innisfail, Atherton and Mareeba.
Would this describe you?
Tertiary qualification in your discipline of either: Qualified Counsellor OR Rehabilitation Counsellor OR Social Worker with AOD experience Registration/Membership with relevant state or national professional body is essential (i.e. ACA or PACFA or ASORC or AASW)
Clinical counselling or mental health counselling Proven ability to motivate and genuinely engage with people Solution focused therapeutic approach which links to vocational goals Strong organisational skills Willing to obtain a Working with Children Check and national police check/yellow card Be able to obtain a myID Current drivers licence More than just a salary!
