Opportunities are available in: Critical Care (ICU/Emergency) Cancer Care (Oncology) Perioperative Nursing Renal Nursing Midwifery This exciting program combines formal postgraduate study with supported clinical practice, enabling participants to develop specialist skills while contributing to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services across Western District Health Service.
Previous experience within your preferred specialty area is desirable but not essential.
What You'll Be Doing Specialist Clinical Practice Work within your chosen specialty area while developing advanced clinical knowledge, decision-making capability and hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced clinicians and educators.
Professional Development Participate in structured learning, educational activities and clinical mentoring designed to support successful completion of postgraduate studies and specialty practice development.
Patient-Centred Care Deliver evidence-based, high-quality care while supporting positive outcomes for patients, consumers and families.
Collaborative Practice Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to a culture of learning, excellence, innovation and continuous improvement.
What You Bring Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational and time management abilities Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Passion for delivering person-centred care Previous experience within your preferred specialty area is desirable but not essential.
