We currently have a vacancy for a Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Coordinator to join the Amazon Australia Team.
This position is within the Fulfillment Center (FC), reporting into the WHS Manager.
It requires working with WHS, OPS and other teams to deliver high standards of safety within our FC.
The suitable applicant will be trained in both the standard work and tools used within the WHS function.
You will be a strong communicator with a solid bias for action, and a team player who values can function as a role model and engage associates in a professional manner within the FC.
This is an hourly paid role working from Monday to Thursday from 5:00PM to 3:00PM and may rotate shift depending on business need.
Key job responsibilities -Identify and inform management of compliance issues, safety risks and improvement opportunities through the conduct of daily, weekly, and monthly inspections -Facilitate incident investigation process -Maintain required paperwork to comply with Amazon and local regulations -Enter Safety incident information in internal database in a timely manner -Perform safety observations
