NSW State Government Parramatta location 3 month assignment with possibility for extension NSW State Government Parramatta location 3 month temp assignment with possibility for extension $***** per hour About the role: Reporting to the Principal Property Officer, you will be responsible for administering the construction, modification, major renovations and/or repairs and maintenance of customer properties (including the management of external consultants).
You may also be required to provide guidance and support to co-workers.

Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and monitor construction projects from the office, ensuring alignment with project plans and objectives.
Track project timelines, budgets, and milestones.
Liaise with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain progress.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and contractual obligations.
Manage external service providers to meet the needs of our customers, having regard to their disabilities.
Prepare reports, documentation,



and presentations for project updates.
Support procurement and contract administration processes.
Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience in construction and understanding/interpreting to provide advice on residential building plans and specifications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Systems savvy Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a quick-paced office environment.
Ability to maintain sensitivity, discretion and a professional manner in handling difficult enquiries and issues Desirable: Experience working on government or public infrastructure projects Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
Builders Licence is preferred.
