Senior Asset Management Specialist | Major Infrastructure Transformation Program Drive meaningful change across one of Queensland's largest infrastructure portfolios.
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Asset Management Specialist to play a key role in a major business transformation program focused on improving the maturity, governance, and performance of a significant infrastructure asset portfolio valued at more than $40 billion.
Reporting to the Asset Management Improvement (AMI) Program Manager , you will be a critical member of a high-profile program delivering strategic initiatives that enhance asset management capability, strengthen decision-making, and improve lifecycle outcomes across a complex and asset-intensive environment.
This is a unique opportunity to influence long-term asset management practices that support essential public infrastructure and deliver lasting value.
The Role As a senior subject matter expert, you will lead and contribute to a range of asset management improvement initiatives, including: Providing strategic and technical asset management expertise across the AMI Program Leading the scoping, planning, design, and delivery of key improvement projects Developing and implementing asset management frameworks, governance models, asset hierarchies, data standards, and operating models Driving stakeholder engagement, consultation, and change management activities across diverse business groups Analysing complex asset management and lifecycle challenges and delivering practical, evidence-based recommendations Preparing business cases, implementation plans, resource forecasts, schedules,
and cost estimates Building strong partnerships that support sustainable change and successful adoption of new ways of working Supporting continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen asset information, reporting, governance, and decision-making About You You will bring a blend of strategic thinking, project delivery capability, and deep asset management expertise.
Ideally, you will possess: Demonstrated experience in infrastructure asset management within a complex or asset-intensive organisation Experience developing asset management frameworks, governance models, asset hierarchy structures, data standards, or operating models Proven ability to lead complex projects from discovery and business case development through to implementation Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management, governance, and asset information management principles Experience contributing to business transformation, continuous improvement, or capability uplift programs Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to influence at all organisational levels Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making Knowledge of, or exposure to, ISO ***** principles will be highly regarded What's on Offer Opportunity to contribute to a major transformation program with significant organisational impact Work alongside senior asset management and infrastructure leaders Influence the future direction of asset management practices across a large and diverse portfolio Collaborative and high-performing program environment Attractive contract prospect with potential for extension If you're passionate about improving asset management capability, driving meaningful change, and delivering outcomes that have a lasting impact, we'd love to hear from you.
