About the Role: The Finance Officer will be responsible for accurate and timely processing across multiple finance streams, supporting internal stakeholders and ensuring compliance with statutory and organisational requirements.
This position includes end-to-end AP and AR responsibilities, general financial processing, and involvement in specialised transactional tasks unique to the organisation's operations.
You'll be joining a supportive finance team with well-established systems, clear processes, and solid internal collaboration.
Key Responsibilities: General Finance Processing Complete end-to-end transactional processing, including invoices, receipts, credit notes, adjustments, and reconciliations Assist with the processing and reconciliation of specialised financial transactions relevant to the organisation Support daily and weekly bank reconciliation activities Accounts Payable Manage the full AP cycle, including invoice verification and system processing Complete weekly payment runs (domestic and international) Perform monthly supplier statement reconciliations Assist with end-of-month AP responsibilities Accounts Receivable Process invoicing, receipting, and credit notes Complete daily bank reconciliations Finalise weekly settlement processes Investigate overdue accounts and unapplied credits,
ensuring timely follow-up Assist with end-of-month receivables work Systems Compliance Maintain purchasing card records, including journals, reconciliations, and reporting Process journals and workflow approvals in financial systems Prepare and submit monthly superannuation files Ensure transactions comply with internal policies and audit requirements Stakeholder Support Respond to internal and external finance queries promptly and professionally Collaborate with other Finance Officers to ensure smooth team operations What We're Looking For Minimum 3 years' experience in finance, accounts, or transactional processing Strong financial systems experience and confidence using Microsoft Office High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical capability Ability to handle strict deadlines and competing priorities Demonstrated experience in reconciliations and end-to-end processing Why This Opportunity?
