Contract Administrator / Project Manager - Civil Infrastructure Rate: $80 per hour + super Start date: September **** Contract: 12 Months Working arrangement: Hybrid Location: Western Sydney About the Role We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator / Project Manager to support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of civil infrastructure and community projects.
You will administer construction and qualified-services contracts while coordinating projects from planning through to completion.
Projects range in value from approximately $10,000 to $70 million and include roads, drainage, bridges, buildings and recreational spaces.
Key Responsibilities Administer AS**** and AS**** contracts across civil infrastructure projects.
Prepare contract documentation, correspondence, notices and project records.
Assess and process claims, variations, extension-of-time requests and payments.
Monitor contractual obligations, performance, risks and emerging disputes.
Coordinate projects to achieve agreed budgets, deadlines and quality standards.
Manage procurement, capital expenditure, resource allocation and progress reporting.
Work closely with internal teams, contractors, consultants and service providers.
Participate in contractor meetings and undertake site inspections when required.
Identify delivery risks and provide advice to project and program leadership.
Improve contract administration systems, documentation and reporting processes.
About You You will bring: At least eight years' relevant experience in contract administration, project coordination or civil infrastructure delivery.
Strong experience administering AS**** and AS**** contracts.
Experience with civil works, construction services and professional consulting contracts.
Knowledge of roads, drainage, utilities, buildings or recreational infrastructure.
Experience delivering complex, long-term projects involving multiple stakeholders.
Strong project management, commercial, negotiation and risk-management capabilities.
Excellent written communication, organisation and stakeholder-management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
A qualification in construction, civil engineering, project management or a related discipline.
A valid White Card and current Class C driver's licence.
Experience within local government and qualifications in contract administration or CPEng membership will be highly regarded.
