Job Title Data Centre Field Infrastructure Engineer | NV1 Work as a Data Centre Field Infrastructure Engineer planning, building and maintaining secure, reliable and scalable ICT infrastructure across a major government technology program.
This NSW contract runs to 30 June **** with two 12-month extension options.
Location: NSW Contract Duration: Contract to 30 June **** + 12 months + 12 months Security Clearance Requirement: NV1 Closing Date: 10:00am, 11 September **** Essential Tasks Plan, design, build and maintain secure, reliable and scalable data centre infrastructure.
Coordinate infrastructure changes, troubleshoot complex issues and lead major incident response and recovery activities.
Oversee rack allocation, power utilisation, cabling standards, infrastructure design and lifecycle planning.
Provide technical guidance, lead technical activities and manage project risks, deliverables and documentation.
Key Criteria Strong background planning and building safe, high-power and reliable data centre facilities.
Experience across ICT infrastructure,



including network, server and cloud environments.
Solid technical troubleshooting, change management, incident response and root cause analysis capability.
ITIL, Microsoft or Cisco certifications, or AutoCAD/Visio drafting experience, would be advantageous.
