Scrum Master 3 Month Contract - with likelihood of extension.
Sydney This is a Scrum Master role supporting one of our leading clients.

Key Responsibilities · Coordinate key milestones, dependencies, risks, and delivery activities to support successful outcomes.
· Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, showcases, retrospectives, and refinement sessions.
· Improve team agility by identifying opportunities for simplification and continuous improvement · Work closely with the Product Owner and delivery team to prioritise and manage the backlog, refine user stories and epics, and support effective estimation.
· Identify, track, and escalate delivery risks, issues, and cross-team dependencies, working with stakeholders to agree mitigation actions.
· Provide clear, timely delivery updates to key stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions required.
· Coach the team in Agile principles and practices, promote self-management, and facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
· Proactively identify and remove impediments by collaborating with team members, stakeholders,
and dependent teams.
Key Skills Experience · At least five years' experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, or in a similar role delivering complex technology initiatives.
· Demonstrated experience applying Agile and Scrum practices in complex delivery environments.
· Demonstrated ability to embed Agile principles, behaviours, and ways of working across delivery teams.
· Strong organisational, prioritisation, and delivery-planning skills.
· Robust problem-solving, facilitation, and continuous-improvement skills.
· Ability to manage scope, delivery progress, risks, issues, and dependencies, and escalate concerns with clear mitigation options.
· Proven ability to build and work effectively within cross-functional teams.
· Professional Scrum Master or Certified ScrumMaster certification is desirable.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
· A growth mindset, with enthusiasm for navigating new situations and solving problems collaboratively.
