Department for Infrastructure and Transport Job reference: ****** Location: **** - ADELAIDE Job status: Short Term Contract Eligibility: Open to Everyone The Department for Infrastructure and Transport plays a vital role connecting people and places in South Australia by managing roads, marine and public transport networks across the State, and builds and maintains the State-owned infrastructure that enables the delivery of essential and important government services to our community.
The Corporate Communications team within the Public Affairs division helps keep our workforce informed, connected and engaged through clear, timely and effective communications that support departmental priorities and culture.
As a Communications Officer, you'll develop engaging content and communication activities across a range of projects and channels.
We're seeking a proactive communicator with strong writing and editing skills, sound judgement and a keen eye for detail, who can juggle competing priorities, meet deadlines and build positive relationships.
Educational Qualifications / Licences Tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations or a related field, or equivalent industry experience, is desirable.
Special Conditions A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.

A Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to employment with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport, which must be renewed every five years before expiry.
Some out of hours and weekend work may be required Tenure of Vacancy Temporary appointment up to twelve (12) months.




Remuneration ASO4 - $82,212 to $86,180 pa + superannuation.
