Senior Medical Officer – Emergency Medicine Location: Swan Hill, VIC Employment Type: Full Time or Part Time (0.5 FTE minimum) Salary: As per EBA + salary packaging + accommodation incentives Start Date: TBC About the Role Join a modern regional Emergency Department managing approximately 18,000 presentations annually.
Working alongside FACEMs, FACRRMs, FRACGPs, junior doctors and nurse practitioners, you will provide clinical leadership, supervise medical teams and deliver high-quality emergency care.
The role also offers opportunities to contribute to education, quality improvement and service development.

Key Responsibilities • Lead and supervise medical staff during ED shifts • Assess, diagnose and manage emergency presentations • Support admissions, transfers, discharges and clinical handovers • Participate in on-call and emergency response rosters • Mentor junior clinicians and support education programs • Contribute to quality, safety and governance initiatives Essential Criteria • AHPRA Specialist Registration (FACEM)
