Are you a sales skilled who's just as comfortable talking product strategy as you are closing a deal? This is a genuine opportunity to join a well-established business in the engineered products space (plastics, rubber and PE) in a role that blends key account management, business development and product management, rather than a straight sales patch.

This role suits someone who wants real input into shaping product direction, pricing and market positioning, working closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams across manufacturing and operations.

The Role
n

Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for customers
n
Develop and execute territory plans to identify and secure new business
n
Build genuine product knowledge across the plastics, rubber and PE range, enough to help guide product strategy, pricing and positioning
n
Work closely with manufacturing, engineering and marketing to bring products to market
n
Support marketing campaigns, trade shows and customer events
n
Manage the full sales cycle,



from quotes and proposals through to forecasting and account reviews
n

About You
n
n
3 to 5+ years' experience in sales, business development, account management or product management, ideally within plastics, rubber, polyurethane, polyethylene or related
engineered/industrial
products
n
A genuine all-rounder. Most candidates are strong in either sales or product, this role needs someone comfortable across both
n
Someone who leads with product knowledge and problem-solving, not a hard-selling BDM style
n
Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
n
Brisbane / SEQ Based
n
Current driver's licence and willingness to travel
n

What's on Offer

$100,000 to $120,000 base plus super
n
$20,000 car allowance
n
Sales bonus of $20,000 standard, with potential for a further $10,000 for stretch targets
