The role
n
We are currently looking for a Senior Civil Engineer – Water Infrastructure to join our Brisbane team. The successful candidate will have a good base of Water and Wastewater detailed design experience within the Water sector with a passion and willingness to expand your experience and knowledge.
n
You wouldplay a key role in:
n
n
Technical delivery, project management andclient relationship managementacross Water Infrastructure projects
n
Strong design experience for water infrastructure projects
n
Contributing to bid preparation and providingtechnical input across all disciplines
n
Ensure that analysis and design tasks undertaken meet appropriate technical standards and the requirements of the client and SMEC
n
Collaborate with appropriate team members, contributors and stakeholders to maintain quality, timeliness and co-ordination of project deliverables
n
Contribute to the commercial success of projects and the team
n
Apply project management principles in carrying out assigned tasks and accomplish project deliverables to the required standard and in a timely manner
n
n
With a track record of achievement in a similar role, you will have preferably gained your experience in an engineering design consultancy and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.

Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate:
n
n
5 - 10 years' experience (RPEQ highly desirable)
n
Technical delivery, project management andclient relationship managementacross Water Infrastructure projects locally and nationally
n
Design of water infrastructure projects including pipelines, intake, water retaining structures and pump stations.
n
Experience and proficient with software systems such as 12d
n
n
