The opportunity: We are seeking experienced and motivated Mechanical Commissioning Technicians to join our team on a major resource project just outside Newman in WA. This is a great opportunity to be part of a high-performing team delivering critical infrastructure in the heart of the Pilbara, one of Australia's most significant and dynamic resource regions. The role offers exposure to industry-leading standards, modern test equipment, and the chance to contribute to a project that will play a key role in supporting ongoing operations in the mining sector.

Work Scope:
n
n
As a Construction Electrician, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
n
Support the mechanical commissioning, testing and handover of fixed-plant equipment.
n
Work closely with construction, commissioning, engineering and operations teams throughout the commissioning process.
n
Verify mechanical completion and ensure equipment has been installed in accordance with project requirements.
n
Assist with pre-commissioning, functional testing, inspections and fault identification.
n
Support defect rectification and punch-list close-out activities.
n
Ensure equipment is tested, compliant and ready for safe operation and handover to the operations team.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitter / Fitter & Turner Trade Certificate
n
Construction Card (White)
n
Working At Heights
n
Confined Space Entry
n
Australian Working Rights
n
Minimum of 5 years' proven experience
