We also contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals in our region through our International Program.As we embark on the next phase of our strategy, it's an exciting time to become part of the team and help shape the future of water sustainability in Australia and grow your events management career.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Events Manager to join our Events, Awards & Digital team.
In this role, you'll independently manage and deliver a portfolio of national and state-based events, including conferences, gala dinners, awards nights and webinars, across physical, digital, and hybrid formats.You'll also contribute to the delivery of Ozwater, the largest water conference and exhibition in the Southern Hemisphere, working closely with internal teams, sponsors, volunteers,
and suppliers to ensure outstanding outcomes.This is an exciting opportunity for someone who's ready to lead impactful events in a purpose-driven organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end delivery of national and state-based eventsCurate event programs and manage event committeesOversee venue selection, catering, AV, digital platforms (e.g. Evexus, Jomablue)Manage key sponsor and stakeholder relationshipsCoordinate travel and accommodation logistics for speakers and staffLead onsite event execution with precision and professionalismDeliver awards show production and gala dinner logisticsMonitor budgets, track KPIs, and complete post-event evaluations and reportingCollaborate with Member Engagement Managers to deliver state-based eventsContribute to Ozwater planning and executionSupport other team members on collaborative event projectsAbout You3–5 years' experience in event management, ideally within associations, conferences, or complex event environmentsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing prioritiesStrong skills in program development and committee managementProven experience negotiating with suppliers and managing key relationshipsProficiency in Microsoft Office and event platforms such as Evexus,
