We believe in putting people first and we are proud to have developed a work culture that fosters growth, collaboration and success.About the role:POSITION SUMMARYBuild a strong foundation in restructuring, insolvency and advisory work by supporting a diverse range of corporate and personal engagements.
Working with experienced professionals, you will develop practical commercial, financial and investigative skills while helping clients and stakeholders navigate complex and often time‐critical situations.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Support a varied portfolio of corporate and personal insolvency, restructuring and advisory engagements under the guidance of experienced team members.Conduct investigations by reviewing books and records, analysing financial information, tracing transactions and identifying key issues.Assist with trading, asset realisation and operational work,
including liaising with employees, creditors, clients and other stakeholders.Prepare clear correspondence, working papers and reports for clients, creditors, courts, regulators and other stakeholders.Assist with statutory and regulatory compliance, including BAS and tax lodgements, ASIC notices, ASIC Administration Returns.Maintain accurate engagement records and information in relevant systems, applying sound judgement, confidentiality and attention to detail.Collaborate with colleagues and specialists across RSM, contributing ideas and building commercial and technical capability through hands‐on experience.About you:EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:EssentialA completed or near‐completed Business or Commerce degree, preferably with an Accounting majorA completed or near‐completed Law degree with an interest in restructuring and insolvencyDesirableAn interest in corporations law, business operations or restructuringDEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES:EssentialClear written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical skills and attention to detailCuriosity, initiative and the ability to work both independently and collaborativelyA practical, solutions‐focused mindset and willingness to learnConfidence working with numbers, data and digital toolsProfessional judgement, integrity and discretion when handling sensitive informationLife at RSM:RSM provides a great workplace to build skills and confidence and we help our people achieve their best.
