From 21 offices in 9 countries, with projects in over 80 locations worldwide, we create sustainable outcomes for our people, clients and communities.Our team is growing; we are currently recruiting forLead Mechanical Engineers to join our team in our Brisbane office.About the roleBe a key Contributor to the delivery of multi-disciplinary engineering designs and feasibility studies.The ability to deliver technical solutions in accordance with project scope, timeframes, and best practice standards.Prepare technical reports related to design issues.Developa thorough understanding of the project requirements as they relate to scope, cost and scheduleDevelopthe mechanical work plan for inclusion into the project specific execution planManageand reviewthe Engineering Work Packages (EWP) associated with all deliverables and time-based functions to ensure that budgets and schedules are being met, and taking corrective action if necessaryReviewand approve mechanical technical deliverables (specifications, datasheets, drawings, etc.)Assistin the preparation and development of project specific proceduresEnsure that company approved design tools, software, relevant codes and standards to be used on the projectAbout youDegree qualification in Mechanical Engineering & hold RPEQ AccreditationExperience in the detailed design of mineral processing plants essentialExperience with copper, gold,



nickel or base metals is highly advantageous10+ years in an EPCM environmentExtremely well-developed written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated leadership and Client liaison skillsStrong deliverable focus and ability to plan the workExcellent understanding and belief in safety principles, standards and legislationStrong interpersonal skillsWhy Ausenco?
