SAP FICO Consultant3–6 Month Contract | Melbourne | Finance Projects, Enhancements & SupportWe are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant for an initial 3–6 month contract based in Melbourne.
This is a hands‐on role working across Finance projects, system enhancements and ongoing support within a complex SAP environment.You will be responsible for delivering SAP Finance solutions that align with the organisation's broader IT strategy and standards, while ensuring solutions meet business requirements and integrate effectively across the wider SAP and technology landscape.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver SAP FICO solutions across projects, enhancements and BAU/support activitiesLead functional solutioning and design across Finance requirementsEnsure solutions align with IT architecture, strategy and standardsWork closely with Finance stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical SAP solutionsTake a strong end‐to‐end and integration‐focused approach, considering impacts across other SAP modules and connected systemsSupport configuration, testing, implementation and post‐go‐live activitiesTroubleshoot and resolve complex SAP Finance issuesWork with technical, functional and integration teams across the broader SAP landscapeSkills & ExperienceTo be successful, you will ideally have:A minimum of 5 years' experience as an SAP FICO ConsultantAt least one full end‐to‐end SAP implementationStrong hands‐on SAP Finance experience across FI and COSolid understanding of integration between FICO and other SAP modulesExperience working within a complex, integrated SAP environmentExposure to OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) and its integration with SAP Finance and other systemsStrong analytical, problem‐solving and stakeholder management skillsThe ability to work across both project delivery and support environmentsThis is an excellent opportunity for a well‐rounded SAP FICO Consultant who can look beyond individual Finance requirements and understand how solutions fit into the broader SAP and enterprise system landscape.Create a job alert for this searchAt Hickory, we don't believe in standing still,
