Join us at Mercy Health and help our teams deliver even greater outcomes.About the opportunityThe role of the Credit Officer is to ensure that all outstanding accounts, reconciliations, adjustments and refunds are processed/collected in a timely and effective manner.
In this role you will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and a robust customer service/support focus.
You will have a keen attention to detail and a commitment to streamlining processes while reporting into the Revenue & Collections Manager.Manage a portfolio of overdue accounts.Follow up outstanding invoices keeping a record to substantiation of DebtLiaising with internal and external stakeholders relating to Debtor balances.Determine payment arrangements with debtorInvestigate and reverse payments that are rejected or dishonoredReport/Flag Doubtful Debtors and provide relevant supporting documents to support recommendationAssistance in notifying debtors when on over on under payment has been madeRaising associated reporting recordsReceipting of revenue when requiredWhat you'll bringYour resilient, compassionate and have a whole lot of heart.Most importantly,
