About the Role
n
You will provide crucial clerical support and facilitate patient management. Including admitting patients, completing reception duties and delivering exceptional customer service. A key component of the role is ensuring patient confidentiality is always preserved.
n
Create patient records and complete all necessary information accurately and in line with current procedures. Admit patients accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain a high level of customer service by handling patient enquires via telephone and in person, in an effective, professional, and caring manner. Arrange appointments for patients as requested by clinical staff.

The classification for this position will be HS1 - HS17 ($***** - $***** per hour plus casual loading)

Previous administration experience in a health setting
n
Knowledge of medical terminology
n
Knowledge of private health fund billing and public health funding
n
Knowledge of Patient Administration Systems
n
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
n
Ability to work independently in a multidisciplinary team
n
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
n
Excellent customer service skills
n
A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal history check, or willing to obtain
n
