We're looking for confident, resilient and ambitious people who genuinely enjoy sales.
You don't need years of finance experience.
What matters is that you're comfortable picking up the phone, can build rapport quickly, handle objections without losing momentum and are motivated by achieving targets.

What You'll Be Doing
Speaking with Australian small business owners and identifying funding opportunities
Working with warm leads while proactively creating current sales opportunities
Making 100+ outbound calls per day across a large customer base
Qualifying customers and progressing opportunities through the sales process
Handling objections confidently and keeping conversations moving
Working towards daily, weekly and monthly sales KPIs
Learning OnDeck's products, systems and sales process
Delivering a positive customer experience while working in a fast-paced environment
What We're Looking For We're interested in people with the behaviours and potential to succeed in sales, not just candidates who have already worked in fintech.
You could come from phone sales, recruitment,



call centres, hospitality, customer service, retail, sport or another target-driven environment.
Most importantly, you'll bring:
Confidence communicating with people over the phone
Resilience and the ability to bounce back from rejection
Robust negotiation and objection-handling capability
A competitive and target-driven mindset
Empathy and the ability to understand what matters to small business owners
Energy, self-motivation and a willingness to learn
Full Australian working rights
Previous sales experience is highly regarded, but attitude, behaviours and potential are just as important.
