Our Somersby Manufacturing Site is where we manufacture our animal treats, including our Love 'Em Dried Liver treats for our doggy friends, and we are looking forconfident and enthusiastic Machine Operators to join our Liver Processingteam.Specifically, this line handles raw protein (red meat) so you need to be comfortable in a 'wet' manufacturing environment.This role is for Mon-Fri 6am - 2pm.Key Responsibilities will include:Setting up and operating a slicer and other related equipmentMonitoring production processesLoading and feeding raw materials (Liver)Performing quality checksAdjusting temperature controls for our baking ovensWorking on the production lines as well as within a cool roomTroubleshooting issues that may ariseMaintaining a safe and clean work environmentWorking with raw materialsManual HandlingSome heavy liftingSkills & ExperienceMust pass our Pre-Employment Medical and have the capability and strength to lift up to 20KGBasic mechanical aptitudeHold a current and valid Forklift Licence (Preferred)Experience within machine operating - preferably with food manufacturing production linesExcellent attention to detailAbility to work within a team and independentlyMust be willing to perform general warehouse tasks dailyAbility to maintain production logsExperience working within a butchery or abattoir will be viewed positivelyOn the job training Opportunities and career progression within the businessWhat we're aboutWelcome to RPF, where we believe in keeping it Real.Since ****, we have been Australia and New Zealand's pioneers in fresher dog and cat nutrition.
